Our newest addition to the Mt. Auburn family, Dr. Heather Boyd, started with us on July 30 this year. We are excited to welcome her aboard!
Dr. Boyd is originally from Memphis, Tennessee. She received her undergraduate degree from DePauw University in Indiana and her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She moved around a lot as a child, studied abroad in Scotland, and played rugby in college. She really enjoys travelling and recently went on a trip to Australia and New Zealand with her husband, where they went ziplining and hiking.
Dr. Boyd ended up in Cincinnati for her residency and loved it so much that she decided to stay! A few things she enjoys about Cincy are the musicals, operas, ballets, FC Cincinnati and the fact that you can still feel a sense of community despite the city atmosphere. Dr. Boyd and her husband recently moved into their very first house with their German shepherd. She loves to talk with people about their fur babies!
A few aspects of her job that Dr. Boyd is very interested in are the reproductive years, infertility, and OB patients who have other health complications. She will be seeing patients at all three of our facilities in Mason, Montgomery and Mt. Auburn. We are excited to welcome such a talented young doctor to the team! Welcome aboard, Dr. Boyd!
