April is an exciting month for the doctors, nurses and office staff of Mt. Auburn OBGYN. We all work to raise donations and awareness for March for Babies around this time, because healthy babies are so important to us. If you aren’t sure about what this event tries to accomplish, it is a walk to raise money to help support families with newborns in the intensive care unit and to help build funds for research on birth defects and premature deliveries.

What Do We Do?

Every type of employee in our practice, including front desk staff, doctors, medical assistants and other office personnel from each of our three locations, gets involved in supporting March for Babies, whether they walk or not. Each year we have a competition to see which office can raise the most donations. We also offer two days where staff can wear their Cincinnati Reds shirts or jeans into the office in return for donating. Of course, we do put together a team to walk, too.

What Can You Do?

Our goal for 2018 was to raise $1,000 for our walk. We’ve hit that mark, but every extra cent is important in helping newborns. You can support babies born too soon, too small or very sick with each donation here or by signing up for our team. You can also do your part for babies by starting a team and raising money on your own. Join with us and thousands of others in the Queen City to improve babies’ health. Trust us, your contributions will be much appreciated.

We emphasize compassionate care for our pregnant patients, because our mission is to meet their needs and the needs of their families. March for Babies is another way we get to show this commitment. Learn more about what our practice does on our blog.
